Cut out for De Boer Staal

October 2007 – June 2006 - De Boer Staal has various dimensions and qualities of sheet steel, profiles and tubes in stock. Customers know who to turn to when they need steel. De Boer Staal can also trim, cut and saw steel. In order to serve their customers even better, De Boer have purchased a large Steiner cutting machine.

The installation of this cutting machine, which weighs a total of 125 tons, was no mean feat. It required 55 piles, 30 tons of foundation and approximately 1,000 man-hours. A rather sizeable cutter!6 metre steelDe Boer Staal are one of the few companies that can cut 6 metre steel to a thickness of 25 mm. Very useful when a 3 metre cutter just can't cut it. It's also great for supplying certified 6 metre sheets and rods (Grade A and DH36).
